For example getting done by the Police for not having a car that complies with construction and use regulations and having an insurer refuse a claim for the same reason (so creating another 'offence'). I know 'everyone' does it but is there a risk that in doing so it could all go horribly wrong? And has anyone told their insurer they are doing it and had their agreement to do so?
