Anyone who has been in a band will tell you that there is nothing that Gaffa tape will NOT stick to. I have some amusing examples: 1. Bass player cocooned in said tape and then stuck to front door at Christmas party 2. Drum kit stuck to roof (outside) of transit van with said tape whilst drummer (er, me) played along with "Won't get fooled again" on the stereo, on the way home from drinking session in Leamington Spa. 3. Most of my first car (mini clubman) held together with said tape, including radiator held in place (brackets snapped), inner sills comprised *entirely* of tape, stereo taped to dash, horn prevented from blowing continuously by tape, most of wiring loom held together with tape, la la la la 4. Home made set of speakers held together with tape. The wood panels were carefully cut with dovetail joints only to find we hadn't any glue. A "temporary" fix with tape was used which ended up lasting about 4 years and at least 30 gigs, although ever-increasing amounts of tape were required for this. I believe the speakers double in size over the years (owing to the increasing amounts of tape used) but they sounded better and better as the tape acted as resonant deadening material. Ah, those were the days. I'm surprised I'm still alive. ------------------------------------------------- To manage your subscription options visit :- http://mailman.se7ens.net/mailman/listinfo/sevens
