I keep the rarebird taxed & insured all year round. The only problem with
winter is the grit & salt on the roads which does havoc with the chassis
when it sits for a few weeks after you've been out for a run.

I tend to only take it out when the roads are dry during the winter which
admittedly is not very often.....mind you a wee blast on new years day is
always good fun :))

IMHO the saving on 6mths tax isnt really worth not be able to use the car at
all.
