I keep the rarebird taxed & insured all year round. The only problem with winter is the grit & salt on the roads which does havoc with the chassis when it sits for a few weeks after you've been out for a run. I tend to only take it out when the roads are dry during the winter which admittedly is not very often.....mind you a wee blast on new years day is always good fun :)) IMHO the saving on 6mths tax isnt really worth not be able to use the car at all. jb7 > What's the logic beind not driving it through the winter anyway? > The roads are emptier (a bit), the air is colder, so denser, so more power > and slidey fun can be had at even low speeds. ------------------------------------------------- To manage your subscription options visit :- http://mailman.se7ens.net/mailman/listinfo/sevens
