I've had a brainwave!!!!
I've got some very thin self-adhesive rubber sheeting...
I'm going to make up a two-ply sheet of that as a tube...  the inner with
the adhesive facing out, the other one the other way but with the join on
the opposite side...
super light, super flexible... happy hour!!!
If it falls apart I'll use some of the super flexi tube!
