I was hoping as much!!!!!
Darn, now I'll have to race without the ICE at full blast.

Next question though. There are two senders on the thermostat, I believe one
is the temp sender unit for the ECU and the other the temp guage sender
unit-Am I right and which is which?
Secondly, I suspect the fan control is activated by the ECU , right or
wrong?

If it's what I think it is, it's just an interference suppression capacitor
which goes between the coil common pin (+12v supply to coil pack) and
ground.

I would hazard a guess that it can be safely omitted in a se7en where
interference free ICE is hardly a priority.
