Well, as a pair of steel bowls weigh next to nothing anyway (in the
context of general weight saving), any purchase of CF versions could
only save that weight as a max. Not especially good weight saving per
pound spent. But the reason *I* want a set is the "other" reason.

I hate chrome. I had 3 minis of ages where the word chrome could be
replaced with rust. I've had a thing about un-spec'ing chrome ever
since.

If I made them, then they'd cost whatever they cost me, just as an
exercise in seeing if it can be done. I'm guessing Vinnie's price would
be approx right. However my manf contact will probably charge a
significant amount so you'd rally have to want them to pay for them.
