No, but thanks for your help. The one I tracked down (with your help ta)
looked a tad overpriced and I decided to hold my horses. I'm not in a
rush, I have all winter and to be honest I'd rather spend 500 quid on a
new Quaife ATB plus fitting than the same (500)on a used Suretrac, which
is what was offered. I made a counter offer for the suretrac btw which was
rejected.

>>>Got the box in?>>>
Not yet. Its been a bit cold over here over the last few days and I've
stayed out of the garage. But its better now and should be for a few days,
plus as you know the box arrived last night so there is ann incentive to
get on with it.....

>>>>Anxious to hear what you think of it as
I recommended it.>>>>
Yeah, I know and I am pretty sure its going to be a total disaster. I have
my litigation lawyer on stand by. BTW, thanks for putting your confession
in writing, we really needed that for our case :-)))))))))

Did you ever get the ratios? I'd like to run them
through the gearing calc.>>>>

Gear Ratio's SPC Semi helical box, 2.39, 1.54, 1.21, 1.00, 0.87: I've run
it through the calc prog a few times, (3.92 diff, 7750 red line) it all
looks quite exciting with me reaching squiglymillion miles an hour in
first gear and then up to severallyzillion in second.....:-)))Ooooh and
did I mention my new semi transparent flywheel :-)))

Rgds
