Hi my name is Rusty, I am a a festival junkie... yes I admit it I am a
tango addict, I crave tandas saturated with solid gold tango music. I
have spent a fortune to dance tango at milongas and festivals all over
the world. I long for comfortable floors! I desire lots of dancing. I
need a crowded floor but with room to move. I admire good floor craft
with a ronda that flows like a flock of starlings!

I built a festival to meet the needs of an advanced tango dancer that
craves pure tango!

When I am at a festival and I see an empty dance floor I wince... what a
waste of a good floor to be sitting their idle! When I dance on
uncomfortable floors and my feet get tired, I think "I spent all this
money and now I can't dance." I go to festivals for the dancing.

Just watch me at our festival, no chance I will have a festival in my
own front yard and not dance at it! So I make sure there is a
comfortable dance floor with LOTS of dancing time. I can't stand idle
dance floors or floors that are hard on my feet!

I try to set the bar for the best in tango festivals. I try to make sure
it is friendly, our embassadors are roaming the milonga to greet you and
introduce you to others. We go out of our way to see to it that your
needs are met and that your experience at the Tucson Tango Festival is
nothing short of stellar!

We know that you buy plane tickets and rent hotel rooms just to dance
tango, so we offer you as much dance time as possible. Our evening
Milongas run until 3:00 AM and the all nighter runs until 6:00 AM all in
one location where you can also have a hot breakfast and coffee. Our
total milonga time is more than any other festival I know of, our DJs
are world class.

The average festival has about 25 hours of dancing, ours is over 50
hours of dance time. All of this on floating professional wood flooring.
Your room is right up stairs where you can change, rest and get straight
back to the festivities. There is a hotel shuttle available up to a 5
mile radius... no car rental needed. We are the first festival to make
the guerrilla milonga a yearly event.
