I've got the Fram on my truck. It lets me change the oil without pulling
the skid plate. 20,000 miles, 5 oil changes, no leaks. I still have to
pull the front skid plate to change the filter but I only do that every
other oil change. I never considered putting one on the SV. I just use a
big-ass drain pan. Actually the pan is big enough to catch oil from the
drain hole and the oil filter opening at the same time and I still have
enough room to turn the filter upside down to drain.
