I also use ramps. They are so much easier than jacking the car up,
and the appear more stable too. I don't recall the brand that I have,
because I just tossed the box out last month, but they look identical
to those Blitz ones. Well, OK, they all kind of look the same! Make
sure you shove some 2x4's or a brick behind the rear wheels too...
just in case...though when on the ramps properly, I don't think the
car will roll away.

A bit pricey, but I think after the first time you use them for something
like an oil change, you'll be glad you bought them! Buy a cheapo Harbour
Freight "Head Lamp" too, so you can strap it to your forehead and see what
you are doing without having to put a big bright light under there blinding
you.

Oh, my (late, beloved, rear-ended, insurance-totalled) Ford Probe had a lot
of
low-to-the-ground plastic up front and it had no problems mounting the
ramps.

And I wasn't sure I'd put these things on the SV, only my wife's Corolla,
and
Sentra. (She has two cars, I have none, but she graciously allows me to
drive
her 14 year old Corolla). She of course is saying "I don't get it, why do we
need
ramps and valves and things? Doesn't Jiffy Lube have their own? *sigh*)

Oh yeah, the last time I was at Jiffy Lube, Oil Stop, Lube-you-Quick or
whatever,
they offered to sell me a valve thing, but they sold it wrong. The guy said
to me
"For $X, we can install this valve, which will make it easier for us the
next time
to remove the oil, which we use a pump for. It makes it faster and easier"
and
my reaction was "Why should I pay extra to make YOUR job easier/faster?
Aren't I already paying you to change the oil?" I'm wondering if they use
one
of these valves, or if they have a special one that they connect to their
own oil-sucker
pump?
