Just checked Gerbing's site. For $5 you can buy an extension plug in 8" 12"
24" and 36" lengths. It does refer to them as "coax" connectors, so I'm not
sure how you'd go about wiring the pump to the plug. That could prove
problematic, at least for  the mechanically challenged such as myself.

Also, the Airman Sparrow pump comes with alligator clips already installed
and only costs ~$18.

Which is a hellva lot less than the Cycle Pump that starts at $80 for the
alligator clips and $90 with the BMW accessory plug.
