Congrats, Dan. Where you at? I'm sure I speak for most of us on the list when I say "take the class" - the MSF training class, that is (or if you're lucky enough to live in Oregon or Idaho, their [reportedly] superior classes). Also pick up a copy of Proficient Motorcycling and/or More Proficient Motorcycling by hazard-avoidance guru David Hough. Lots of motorcycle stores carry it, or support MY local publication/online store, Sound Rider (www.soundrider.com). And read AND MEMORIZE every tip on this list: http://piratesk12site.net/SAFETY~1.htm ...there will be a test... :) Also, wear clean underwear, be kind to dogs and your mother, and never touch a monkey (unless it asks you to).
