It wasn't the waves so much as the rocking - a few of the times the
boat rolled to the right I could see the suspension compress and the
bike start to stand up. A little more and it would have gone over.
Apparently one of the deckhands physically restrained it on some of
the really serious rolls - and got doused by a few waves for his
trouble. I let him know how grateful I was.
