Re: First Bike!

Hello all,

I'm out on Long Island, but I'm hoping to make the move to sunnier
pastures in the next few months. My goal when deciding to buy a
motorcycle was to eventually move somewhere where I can ride 365 (or
as close to 365 as possible).

I'll definitely be taking the safety course, and I'm reading every
tip and trick about riding that I can find, so good web sites and
book recommendations are always welcome (they go right into my
motorcycle bookmarks folder so I can reference them with ease ;) ).

In the interim, if anyone's got any recommendation on where to buy
good motorcycle gear (I need a jacket -- preferably one good for hot
humid summers -- and boots), that'd be great!

I'll link to pics as soon as I get my hands on a camera!
