Winbook, essentially a desktop machine in a laptop (3.04 GHz, Hyperthreaded
Pentium 4, 80GB HD, 1 GB RAM). It's got such beefy fans in it to cool that
very hot processor that sometimes is sounds like someone's firing up a wind
tunnel.

I do have to angle the laptop in its protective sleeve to get it thru the
opening in the tail bag but it's not difficult to do. The tail bag also
comes with a rain sheath which I keep in one of the pockets of the bag
itself but have never needed to use. I don't normally commute when there's a
threat of rain.

And I know what you mean about the two laptop transport. I sometimes carry
my much smaller and lighter work laptop in a backpack and my personal one in
the tail bag. If I crash big with both of those, the expense of replacing
the computer H/W will be almost as much as the bike itself. But I tell ya, I
love my Cortech backpack with the built in helmet holder (
