Right, you can't get at the screw with the airbox in place.  Not a problem, the
sync remains good once it's back.  You can check after you've replaced the
airbox to satisfy yourself.

Carb balance at idle is what we're doing here. It's not really that important at
idle, but opening the throttle *from* idle should be smooth with no stumbles.
It can make a big difference in rideability.  At greater throttle openings on
the SV the throttle plates track very well - no need for balance at large
throttle openings. (With dual carbs that are cable-operated this is more difficult.)
