The computers say the device is working properly. The laptop Com 6, the desktop Com3. The scanner works on the desktop when using the serial port, but not the usb converter. If only the laptop had a serial port. I think I will give up now. Thanks for your help though. If you have come here to find out about the 250D you have come to the right place! In fact the discussion of the BC-250D and how it works is the only acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the BC-250D is OFF TOPIC.
