the easiest way to disable a bank is while in id search, that way no list are displayed to confuse you.

if you have certain list you want to l/o I find the easiest way to do it is with only one bank enabled. In other words l/o all other banks while in search and than switch back to scan to lock out scan list in that bank.

Subject: [UnidenBC250D] BC250 Bank and list question!

Can anyone advise as how to select specific

A: banks while scanning trunked systems; IE i want to be able to
enable/disable banks 2 and 4

B: enable/disable specific "lists" within a bank while listening

i can do it as it stands by trying to catch the display while in scan
mode... the problem is that if im not fast enough on the draw.. i
sometimes accedentaly disable a "bank" when i want to disable a "list"
and visa versa.
There must be a better way?!

If you have come here to find out about the 250D you have come to the right
place! In fact the discussion of the BC-250D and how it works is the only
acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the
BC-250D is OFF TOPIC. I hope this is clear to all group members..
