FYI for the person looking for a 250D....personally, I would try to get the
296 over the 250 because when re-banding finally takes place, the 296 is
software\firmware upgradable, but the 250 is not.

I have several digital scanners for sale, I recently purchased all the
digital inventory in a kentucky radio shop, with the inventory was
several 296 and 250 scanners a few was in need of repairs,i sent some
to uniden for repairs and the others only needed minor
fixes,batteries. ect. some needed nothing but to be charged and
programmed.they are all like new condition and all work perfectly, i
have them listed locally as well as on several sites. they are going
for $ 425.00 each and include, new high capacity 3300mah battery
packs, extra battery pack, high performance antenna,wall charger and
crx120 which is a drop in charger that charges the spare battery while
it charges the radio at the same time, also comes with auto power
adapter for your car, and owners /operators manual, and yes the apco25
card is included. this is a real good buy since the bc296d is the best
scanner out there, they are going at a rate of at least one a day so
if you are interested you need to let me know fast, i accept postal
money orders and certified checks, personal checks will need to clear
the bank before scanner is shipped, S&H is $15.00 cont usa only.
