The reason you can not get much for this scanner is due to the 800 MHz Public safety rebanding that is currently going on. This scanner is not a reprogrammable scanner and will only work in small areas that are still using 108MHz-512MHz range and that do not use the 800MHz band. So even if you had the digital card you still would not get much for this scanner. I would believe that $100-$150 would be about the best you will get for this even though it was $350 brand new. If you can find someone to give you more I would jump on the chance because the closer it gets to the total rebanding project being done the less you will get for this scanner. ________________________________ From: robert c <robbc49-/[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, September 30, 2009 5:33:27 AM Subject: [UnidenBC250D] Re: BC250d sale value? --- In UnidenBC250D@ yahoogroups. com, "n1llk" <n1llk@...> wrote: > > Does anyone know the going rate for this radio WITHOUT the Apco module? > > I have one is very good condition, along with the belt clip and battery charger, and I'm pretty sure I even have the manual for it... > > I realize that without the APCO module it's less interesting, but I am wondering what it might be worth if I were to sell it... > > Thanks all... > > Bryan > i have bought a few lately average $100-$150.00 canadian.
