I have checked with them as well as most of the usual scanner sites. No one carries it any longer and it is no longer made. Unlike other recent scanners, the cable for the 250D was exclusive to it and the 296D only, having a smaller radio connection than that on the 396/996 radios. It's like a mini plug. Which is why I am now trying these groups.. to see if someone might have one they don't use or need any longer or that someone may have bought several. So far, no luck yet.

  scott i think i saw ur name on the [email protected], so ur ahead of me there, i did scan scannerworldusa and they have many cables there tho didnt see one for the 250 but not to say one or more they have there wont work on yours,perhaps one of the others can be rewired or such,or wired the same,one never knows, 800 476 8050 is there number,ill keep looking k

  bearcat warehouse sell most every thing for bearcat scanners including software and cables,u think its www.bearcatwarehouse.com give that page a try
