I know that the BC250 will not trunk track the rebanded freq.=20

I live in a LIGHT traffic area and put in all of the freq listed on radio r=
eference in as CONVENTIONAL freq including the control channels and then lo=
cked them out when they stopped on them. They change control channels at ti=
mes.=20
I do not see any difference with 2 other trunk tracking radios on at the sa=
me time for comparison to the BC250. I know is is not the proper way but li=
ving in a slow traffic area it gives a little more life to the radio.
The BC250 started missing some broadcast. I then noted that they added a ne=
w channel on the trunked radios, so i added it to the BC250. All is well no=
w.
This has been in use this way for over a year now. Try it, you might like i=
