First  are your areas that you are trying to  listen to refarmed? If the fr=
eq. are refarmed, ( the scanner will not pick them up).

If you arelistening to a trunking   ageny, are they phase 3?  If they are, =
the scanner will notpick them up.  If the control channell is 9600 baud  th=
en you are  out of luck, 3600 baud, yes as long as  it had not been refarme=
d.

What area  are you in?

you may want to invest in a 436hp which is the top of the line portable uni=
den has.

Just some CB channels.No fire rescue,Police,or  fire department nothing. An=
