--047d7b111839e3e8be04f5bef055 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-7 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Just a point of clarification -- it's not that the 250D can't decode the di= gital voice, it's that it can't track newer trunked systems because it list= ens to the control channel to find out where to go next and from there tune= s the radio to whatever frequency that would be. But the FCC changed the f= requency assignments a while back, so when the control channel tells the 25= 0D where to go, it goes to the wrong place. Newer scanners are made to han= dle the new assignments. Some systems (like EDACS) it trunks fine. And it= should decode most P25 digital voice if it's on a single (conventional) fr= equency. The problem is only with Motorola trunked systems, most of which = have been rebanded.
