No, you will need some form of feed horn and also you should be looking for
a low noise preamp for the frequency you wish to listen to.
With this size of dish ( 6-10ft in Dia.....??? ) you will be looking at
Microwaves, ie, above say, 1000MHz.
The higher you go in frequency the more gain can be obtained from your dish.
By the way, once you have a feed horn and LNA you will need a receiver to
listen to the frequency you are going to tune to.
If you really go the "full Hogg" you will need to be able to rotate your
dish, both up and down and also around ( AltAzimith ).
To put it another way if I were you and just starting in radio I would try
and sell the dish to an Amateur Radio Astronomer, or some one interested in
'SETI' ( The Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence' ).
