  Me too, Taiwan.  But all I ever heard on those 800 Mhz bands were
  encoded cellular noise, I suppose.

  Am I correct that your typical R2 user will not derive any pleasure
  from unblocking in his shirt pocket listening habit, and would need to
  hook it up to fancier equipment to make sense of the noise, so would
  probably have a fancier receiver too anyway?

  Or is a PC and wire to speaker jack all that is needed?
