Purple cable?

Hi,

I am Henk from Rotterdam. I have to purple cable on my R2 but I 
can't get it to work properly. I can download/upload with the org. 
software, but when I edit and upload to the R2 the data seems to be 
empty. Empty has to be read as the data isn't what I put in it.
Strange thing with this software. I have to set the comport every 
time I start it!

I also tried to get TK2 working, but no luck until now.

I am using Windows XP home SP1a. The port I am using is 4 and is 
free.
What more software can I try out with this cable or do I better 
return the cable and buy another one?
