Hey all. I figured out that the optolinx does work as an interface for the R2. It's quite simple really. All you need is a cable with a 3.5 mm stereo plug on one end that will plug into the R2. The other end can be just a mono 3.5 mm plug and this will plug into any of the three middle jacks on the front of the optolinx labeled A, B, or C. Be sure that the 'Ring' of the stereo plug is connected to the 'tip' of the mono plug. Also set both of the dip switches on the back of the optolinx to the off position (up). While it's not really worth buying an optolinx just for the R2 interface (way too expensive), if you already have one for some other radio it's kinda cool that it works for the R2 as well. ------------------------ Yahoo!
