Hi All Bryan Ok after reading what davem, and Bob(aj9s) and looking at the file, not realising it was subject to RT systems type mang'eling you should use the link in davem's post to edit and upload frequencys from the pdf file http://www.charlesriverrc.org/articles/radio/ICR2/RC_ChannelChart.pdf then you could use Tk2 or Valaski or the OEM S/W to upload to the R2 Yes its its a pain in the Butt, having to type in the freq's but you also get the use of progranming the R2 using different software and ideas from this group. BTW Aj9s is the only person that seems to take pride in his software development -- a minor bug or spelling mistake and he has fixed the problem without issue -- Skinny --- In [email protected], "bryan" <bryan@b...> wrote: > Hello Skinny, > > I installed the tk2 software and verified it will talk to the R2 ok. :) > > I next tried to import the memory channels form the ICF file and received > the following error. :( > > can't use empty string as operand of "+" > can't use empty string as operand of "+" > while executing > "expr {$sum + $sum + $x}" > (procedure "GetBitField" line 17) > invoked from within > "GetBitField $f1 4 7" > (procedure "BCD2Offset" line 18) > invoked from within > "BCD2Offset $s" > (procedure "DecodeMemories" line 46) > invoked from within > "DecodeMemories" > (procedure "DecodeImage" line 26) > invoked from within > "DecodeImage" > (procedure "ImportICF" line 79) > invoked from within > "ImportICF ." > (menu invoke) > > Any ideas on what I need to fix in the ICF file to get it to work? > Here is the path to the ICF file: > http://www.charlesriverrc.org/articles/radio/ICR2/RC_IMAGE.ICF > > > Thanks > Bryan ------------------------ Yahoo!
