mostly spam

Some statistics:
There have been 32 messages in this list in 2006.
9 of them had something to do with radio, any radio.
The remaining 23 are all spam, a much higher number than any other
Yahoogroups list I belong to.  That's about 75% spam.

Though the list owner says he filters new members to avoid spammers,
he pretty clearly is not doing that.  Seven of the spam messages are
from the same user, so repeated spamming won't get someone removed
from the list either.  It seems that the list owner has simply
abandoned this list.  With no attention, the spamming is likely to get
worse over time.

So, it's time for me to drop my subscription.  That's too bad - there
has been some good information in this group over the years, and I
still have my R2.
