Re: trunking id's

I suspect that the frequencies might not have gone in as well as you hoped.

In order to put TGs in, the radio must be in trunking mode, on the bank 
you're programming.

I.e. you need to be able to do an ID search.  If you're able to do that, 
then the TGs should go in without trouble.  If you can't get that working, 
then the problem is on the trunking frequency setup side, not the TG setup 
side.

With a 245, I always put an extra control frequency into a non-local bank - 
that of the tower nearest my home.  That way, I can get the thing trunking 
from home and therefore enter TGs in comfort.  When I'm located where the 
actual tower is, I just lock out the extra control frequency.
