Yes, Scan Control is commercial software.

Let's start with this, in order to validate that we're all talking about the same system

This system is a cinch to program for the 245. This system type would be 'E2-800' and should work just fine until this system is rebanded (whenever that happens).

If you wish to use the Senss program, it's pretty klunky for programming, frankly, but these 2 articles will help..
