You have to install 2.4.1 first as 2.4.3 only replaces some of the files and doesn't do the install routine to register the VBA activeX Comm. components.  You can do it manually at a command prompt 

 

c:> Regsvr32 Mscomm32.ocx 

 

You may need a path to mscomm32.ocx   you might use regsvr32 c:\my documents\MScomm32.ocx

Ok, trying 2.4.3 on XP and I'm getting the following error:

"Component MSWINSCK.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

My system is stable and should be working fine.  Any ideas how to proceed?  It gives this error whether or not I have the scanner connected and in "PCCON" mode.
