  Thanks for the reply.  I am running 
W7  ultimate(32 bit)...  so in reading this from 
you i should have no problems.  I just Located my 
original disk of ARC780  and my regi code....  i 
should be good to go..  thanks for the 
reply...  I just found out that   i need a new 
scanner  because of a local re banding they did in my area.
No worries...  i was itchin  for something new anyhow..  it was about time.
