   I remember back in the day.. when folks  vere 
using  46MHZ for  cordless  communications  they 
were very popul;ar  do the mod and away you 
go..  I did both  just a clip of the diode and you were off to the races
Ebay has a few for sale and the prices are quite 
reasonable too..  certainly not like ny new 
996..shgeesch  the prices  these days
