Could easily be wrong but, I suspect a cable fault. Baud rate set to 19,200.

I have an issue with this cannot communicate with the scaner i have set the
scanner to remote as per instruction changed the baund rate to different
settings throught the availble range and am using a gender changer on the
back of the scanner the software is try before you but proscan is this the
best option any help would be great
