If your new frequencies are in the 700Mhz range, the BC780XLT doesn't cover that range. That's why you're getting the out of band error message.

I'm really rusting programming my 780XLT, but today the County implemented new frequencies in their Motorola Trunking system. I'm attempting to reprogram the trunked bank and am getting an error message "error - out of band".

Any help (please and thank you!)?
