I've tried quite a few different programs but for me, Proscan is the best I've used. I ran the 30 day trial and completely reprogrammed my unit a couple times just to make sure it did everything it said it could do before finally breaking down and purchasing it. I now use it in conjunction with RadioReference.com to obtain the trunking data for the areas I want to scan. Not having to type everything in manually makes programming the unit even fun. Good luck with the unit.
