Thanks for the info. That might be of help here. Mike In a message dated 9/11/2012 10:51:23 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: Hello again from Florida, For those interested in making this fine scanner even better, you can get additional memory added to these scanners. I've had the memory expansion done to 4 of my BC-780s and 2 of my BC-245s. This work is done by the Frequency Fan Club, a company in Georgia that caters to auto racing fans who use scanners at the race tracks to monitor the racers talking to their pit crews, and other comms at the race tracks. Website is www.racescanners.com The modification adds a complete additional memory or memories to the 780. You can scan only one memory at a time. To change memories, you turn off the scanner, flip a switch to the other memory, then turn on the scanner, and you instantly have a complete new database. You can get a doubling, tripling, or quadrupling of the memory of the 780, which is great if you need to set up databases for a large geographic area. Details are here: _http://www.racescanners.com/~draley/repairs.htm_ (http://www.racescanners.com/~draley/repairs.htm) I'm not connected with this firm, nor am I being compensated for these remarks. Just trying to help fellow scanner hobbyists. __________________________________________________________ Woman is 53 But Looks 25 Mom reveals 1 simple wrinkle trick that has angered doctors... _http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/504f4fddcdae24fdc5136st01duc_ (http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/504f4fddcdae24fdc5136st01duc) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
