Let me give you an example. I live in two different locations, the scanner
is filled with local fire, police and air frequencies, when I go to the
second location it would be great to just flip a switch and have the entire
band plan for the second area ready to go. I know that program will do the
same but extra memory would eliminate the need for a computer once it's
programmed.
