Channels not staying on reciving channel

I have a few select channels that do not hold when reciving a transmission.   They stop on the channel, you hear the first 6 seconds or so, then it cuts back to scanning.   

I've heard about settings for weather and priority,  I dont have these on.  And they are random channels within banks..  Is there anything else I should look for ?   Is there another setting ?
