Re: UBC780XLT and Proscan

Gerry: I'm not conversant with Proscan but do this regularly using the Scan Control software - See web for more information, there's even a Scan Control Forum.. The good news is that the programme will work with most USB to Serial converters,
mine is a 'smart card' that plugs into my notebook. I love both the scanner and Scan Soft software, they are good partners. The other benefit of Scan Soft is that you can import/export setups to other scanners.

Can someone tell me,in words of 1 syllable if possible ,how to move the frequencies I have stored in my 780XLT into the database in Proscan without deleting them from the scanner please.I've opened a new database in Proscan and now I'm not sure whether to 'Import' or 'Upload' from the scanner.Sorry to appear such a dweeb,but having successfully deleted 20 or so frequencies from the scanner inadvertently,I don't wish this to happen again.All suggestions gratefully received.
