Hello from Central Florida to all 780 enthusiasts,


 


One of our BC-780 scanners has a blank display problem. The display is fully
lit, but there are no characters displayed on the screen, even as the
scanner is hearing lots of activity. The permanent lettering on the display
is also blank.


 


Thinking this was a problem with a connection in one of the ribbon cables to
the display board, I disassembled the scanner, removed and reinserted both
ribbon cables, but that did not solve the problem.


 


Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue?
