RE: 785D Remote Kit

Remote kit? Hmmm, info please? What do we use a remote kit for? Why do I
need it?
On another topic:
I am trying to use the record feature on my radio. But it does not actually
record. It goes thru all the motions, but wont actually record anything.
Heres what I got:
785D (of course!)
Dell computer running XP
TrunkStar 785d
Everything is hooked up right. There is output from radio. When it stops on
a ID I have set to record, the info comes up in the digital audio windows,
the record light comes on, and everything looks like its recording except
the little counter thingy does not advance, and there is no audio file
recorded. Im positive that the radio and TrunkStar are setup properly. I
think the problem is in the computer sound/record/microphone/etc setup on
the computer. Any troubleshooting tricks? If anyone can help me to figger
this out I would be appreciative. I might even buy you a New Car!!!    NOT!
