Well, I'm not very happy either. I saved extra pennies for a couple years to finnaly buy a 785D and then the rebanding came about and now I'm stuck and good luck selling it for anything worth a damn. I even just purchased a remote head kit from scannermaster.com Luckily the kit is good for the 785D and 796D. I'm just pissed that soon I will have to drop another $500+ for the 796D to keep listening. For those who are not on the ball with the rebanding, check out some of these links: <http://www.apcointl.org/frequency/800hp.htm> <http://www.motorola.com/cgiss/800rebanding/index.shtml> <http://www.macom-wireless.com/800rebanding/default.asp> <http://www.800rebanding.com/> Jason KE4NYV www.ke4nyv.com RPC Electronics www.rpc-electronics.com --- In [email protected], "w0web" <w0web@c...> wrote: > That's not what I read but cool with me > ----- Original Message ----- > From: mch > To: [email protected] > Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2005 11:49 > Subject: Re: [UnidenBC785D] 800 mhz rebanding > > > For one, your understanding of the rebanding.
