De-Programming

My BC785D seems to de-program itself from time to time.  I have all 
backs set to "Control Channel Only" and the "Plan 2".  On a regular 
basis, I find that the "Control Channel Only" and the "Plan 2" go 
to "Off".  I can be listening and receiving fine when I might notice a 
long period of silence - check the pregramming and fine CCO and Plan 2 
are off.  The scanner keeps all of the frequencies and talk group IDs 
but will not keep the CCO/Plan 2 settings.

Has anyone experienced this problem?  Any suggestions?  I emailed 
Uniden but they apparently didn't feel like responding.
