is APCO Card Usefull ?

Hello group.

I am thinking about getting the APCO digital card for my uniden
BC785D.  There are about 5 digital talk groups on our local system
(Springfield, MO). However some people say they are just digital and
other say they are digital AND encrypted.  Obviously if they are also
encrypted the card will do me no good.  Is there a way I can tell
before buying the card if the data is or is not encrypted?  Is there
anyone on the list here living locally who has tried it?

E=Digital Plus Encryption
