3D Technologies announces the availability of ScanControl Version 6.1
with DataGrabber Technology for RadioReference.com. The DataGrabber
allows the user to quickly and easily copy and paste conventional
frequency data, trunk system frequency data and trunk system talkgroup
ID data directly from the pages of RadioReference.com into the
ScanControl editors.

Unlike simple copy and paste tools the DataGrabber is "data aware"
during the paste process. This means the user doesn't have to "sift"
through the data deciding what to keep and what to discard. Just
highlight the entire row, or rows, of data you want, copy and paste
directly into ScanControl and the DataGrabber decides which fields of
data belong where. It knows the difference between conventional
frequencies, trunk system frequencies and talkgroup ID data. You can
"Grab" multiple groups of data in one copy step. In the newer DMA
radios (SC230, BC246T, BR330T, BCD396T, BCD996T and BCT15) at your
option the DataGrabber will separate, and name, the data into separate
frequency groups, trunk sites and talkgroup ID groups in the radio
system.

You can literally program entire trunk systems in 2 simple copy and
paste steps. To view the DataGrabber in action go to our Web Page at >>
http://www.scannersoft.com/datagrabber.htm
<http://www.scannersoft.com/datagrabber.htm> to view actual use videos
of the DataGrabber.

ScanControl supports 16 different Uniden models: BC245XLT, BC895XLT,
BC898T, BCT8, BC780XLT, BC250D, BC785D, BC296D, BC796D, SC230, BC246T,
BCD396T, BR330T, BCT15, BCD996T and the Radio Shack PRO2052. All models
are supported by one piece of software with automatic data interchange
between most models.

If you have come here to find out about the 785D you have come to the right place! In fact the discussion of the BC-785D and how it works is the only acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the BC-785D is OFF TOPIC. I hope this is clear to all group members..
