With ProScan you have two methods.

Method 1
1. Set ProScan scanner type to 785.
2. In the misc. options - Check the box "Bypass Scanner Type Check
Download & Upload"
3. Download from the scanner to ProScan.
4. Save the database.

Method 2
1. Set ProScan scanner type to 780.
2. Download from the scanner to ProScan.
3. Save the database.
4. Set ProScan scanner type to 785.
5. Import the 780 database.

You can download the data from the 780 to ProScan.

If you have come here to find out about the 785D you have come to the right place! In fact the discussion of the BC-785D and how it works is the only acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the BC-785D is OFF TOPIC. I hope this is clear to all group members..
