Kim, I don't know what information you are looking for, but here is some history: Scannermaster has had this in product in production for what seems to be 3 years. Uniden never expected that the scanner would be remoted, so they never built control circuitry for this purpose. Scannermaster built these remote units with the control circuitry so they could get the connecting wire down to 8 conductors. Their products are of good construction, and they have several accessories for the BC780 series. The products are quite pricy, though. Still, they are the only source for these accessories. Rich Barnette, the head of Scannermaster, had this unit on display at the Dayton Hamvention, and it worked quite well.
